How can we clean stains from clothes without soap?

We want to verify whether water at different temperatures removes better stains from clothes, in addition with lemon juice, bicarbonate and vinegar. To do this, we introduced the stained clothes into diferent types of water and observed which water contained more lipids. We use a color-based and a visual method.

Hello Lucia, Jone and Iker,

The idea you have chosen to work on seems very interesting to me. Although I am not an expert in chemistry, you have explained it in a very clear way and it has been very easy for me to understand the conclusions reached. Besides, you have defended the work in English and that makes the work even more interesting. Congratulations!
What impressed me the most is the methodological rigour with which you have worked in the lab. I am a researcher and sometimes this is missing in some works.
I would like to suggest a couple of recommendations:
1. Could you explain the results in a graph? I know it can be complicated but it would help a lot to summarise the results obtained.
2. For those of us who don't do this, would you be able to explain the influence of lemon juice, baking soda and vinegar on the wash? I find it very interesting to be able to understand it from a chemical point of view.
